Although the R.O.C.K. Ministry is headed by a small board of directors, the weekends themselves are run by a dynamic team of volunteers assembled each spring, consisting of both youth and adults. In fact, most of the team for each weekend are young people who have previously attended the R.O.C.K.! The retreat is for youth, by youth--with the help of a few adult leaders to oversee things.

Who can serve?

If you have previously attended the R.O.C.K. or you are 21 or older and have attended a similar retreat weekend before, then we would love for you to consider serving on team for the upcoming weekends! We welcome young people who have just attended a R.O.C.K. weekend and are fired up about about working the next one, as well as parents and anybody else in the community who believes in what the R.O.C.K. is about and wants to help out.

What positions are available?

There are a number of positions to fill on team each year, all equally important, but that may require different spirtiual gifts or skills. The leaders for each weekend will prayerfully consider where to place each member on the team. We ask that anybody who applies to be on team do so with an open heart, willing to do their job to the fullest wherever they are asked to serve.

Is there a cost?

The cost for team members is $100 in order to cover food and stay at the retreat facility. However, scholarships are available if money is a concern, so please let us know and we will see what we can do!

How do I sign up?

If you are interested in serving on the team this year, please fill out an application and turn it in as soon as possible! While we prefer to have applications early in the year if possible, please do not hesitate to send us yours even if the weekends are coming up soon!
